Successful heat pump conference
 

The 9th International Energy Agency Heat Pump Conference held in Zürich the 20th to 22nd of  May 2008 was a great success. The conference program offered 72 oral presentations, nearly 150 poster presentations, and several workshop sessions related to ground source heat pumps, low energy buildings, heat pumps for the retrofit market, compact heat exchangers and thermally driven heat pumps.

 

450 attendees from 36 countries were given a great opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss the latest news about heat pump markets, applications and technology with other participants who included experts from governments, utilities, manufacturers, research organizations and other organizations concerned with energy-efficient technologies.

 

Two posters were awarded with the Best Poster Award:
