Heat
Pump RD&D Portal
Introduction
Heat pump RD&D projects have been implemented (and are ongoing) around the world. These projects and their results are not widely known, in terms of technology and system applications, although some organisations (IIR, EU) maintain R&D project databases.
Objective
The objective of this project is to screen the information available on ongoing R&D and P&D projects relating to heat pumps and provide a structure for accessing the information.
Activities
The Heat Pump RD&D Portal is a concentrated list of databases, all available on the Internet, containing specific information on heat pumps. To save you surfing the Net for hours at a time to find the specific information you need, simply click on the Heat Pump RD&D Portal and head straight for the correct source.
The accessible databases have been screened according to available information (completeness, detail), and relevance for heat pumping technologies. The Portal is limited to public literature, i.e. projects at national laboratories, scientific associations, research organisations and universities.
The Portal covers over 30 databases that include information on heat pumps, and links you straight through to the relevant Internet sites.
Implementation
This project was implemented by the IEA Heat Pump Centre.
Project results
The results are available on this website.
