Austrian Standards Institute – Österreichisches Normungsinstitut (ON)
The Austrian Standards Institute (ON) responsibilities include preparation of Austrian standards, information and service utilities for the application and implementation of standards and technical regulations and specifications, promotion and implementation of activities in the field of conformity with standards etc.
Institut belge de normalisation (IBN)
IBN is a non-lucrative association dependent on the Ministry of Economic Affairs and is known as a public service. The main goal of IBN is to produce standards in order to create an economic and social framework beneficial to the elimination of trade barriers, to optimize products, services and processes and to ensure personal and environmental safety.

Office for standards, Metrology and Testing
The organization develops and maintains standards within the Czech Republic. The annual plan for the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing is the harmonization of current standards in the Czech Republic with those of the EU, and maintaining the standards in relation to new government policies.
Czech Standards Institute (ČNI)

Estonian centre for standardisation (EVS)

The German Institute for Standardization, is a registered association, founded in 1917. Its head office is in Berlin. Since 1975 it has been recognized by the German government as the national standards body and represents German interests at international and European level.

The National Standardization Agency of Indonesia - Badan Standardisasi Nasional (BSN)
The National Standardization Agency of Indonesia (BSN), established in 1997, is a “Non Department Governmental” Institution having the primary task to develop standardization in Indonesia. The agency has taken over the function and duty of the Standardization Council of Indonesia (Dewan Standardisasi Nasional - DSN).
National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI)

Standards Institution of Israel
The Standards Institution of Israel, mandated by the Government of the State of Israel, is the country's national standards body, preparing and publishing Israeli standards as well as representing Israel in the international standards organizations. The Standardization Division coordinates the preparation of Israeli standards through hundreds of committees, comprising thousands of representatives from all the sectors of the Israeli economy and society.
Italian Organization for Standardization - Ente Nazionale Italiano di Unificazione Italian Organization for Standardization is a private association founded in 1921 appointed by the Italian government and the European Union to develop, approve and publish technical standards in all economic sectors (industry, trade and services) except for the electric and electrotechnical ones.
Japaneese Standards Association (JSA)
The objective of this association is "to educate the public regarding the standardization and unification of industrial standards, and thereby to contribute to the improvement of technology and the enhancement of production efficiency".
Japanese Industrial Standards Committee (JISC)
JISC consist of many national committees and plays a central role in standardization activities in Japan. The task of JISC is establishment and maintenance of Japanese Industrial Standards, administration of accreditation and certification, participation and contribution in international standardization activities, and development of measurement standards and technical infrastructure for standardization.
Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS)
The Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) is a specialized institute to lead the industrial standards and technical evaluation in Korea. KATS aims to provide technological infrastructure for industries in Korea. The main missions of KATS include promoting the conformity of Korean standards with international standards; endorsing international mutual recognition agreements for standardization and conformity; hosting meetings for international standardization; conducting researches for standardization; evaluating components, materials and reliability; and certifying new technologies and quality of products for industries in Korea.
The main tasks of LVS are to develop the national standards fund by organizing elaboration of the national standards of Latvia and adaptation of international and regional standards; to ensure dissemination of information on standardisation, issuing and publishing the national standards of Latvia and other related information; to participate in the work of international and regional standardization bodies.
Lithuanian Standards Board (LST)
Lithuanian Standards Board is an institution taking part in establishing and implementing the policy of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania within standardization, quality assurance fields and carrying out other functions provided by the Laws and Government Resolutions. LST establishes and develops standardization system, sets up technical committees for the preparation of Lithuanian standards as well as organizes their preparation, adopts, publishes and distributes Lithuanian standards which are applied on a voluntary basis, establishes order on adoption of international, European and foreign standards as Lithuanian standards, seeks that copyright of International and European standardization organizations is not infringed in Lithuania, adopts international and European standards as Lithuanian standards.

Standards New Zealand is the trading arm of the Standards Council, a crown entity operating under the Standards Act 1988. The Standards Council, an appointed body with representatives from a wide range of community sectors, is the governing body for Standards NZ. Standards New Zealand specialises in developing and marketing national, regional and international Standards.
Standards Norway is responsible for all standardisations areas except electrotechnical and telecommunication. Standards Norway adopts and publishes some 1,500 new Norsk Standard (Norwegian Standards), NS annually. South African Bureau of Standards (SABS)

Swedish Standards Institute (SIS)
SIS develops Swedish and international standards and consists of three main areas. The largest area is SIS, Swedish Standards Institute. The two other SIS areas are SIS Förlag AB, a full- service publishing house that publishes and sells standards and other publications, and SIS Forum AB, which provides education and consultation in interpreting and implementing standards. Both companies are wholly- owned subsidiaries of SIS.
The Swiss Association for Standardization (SNV)

ANSI - American National Standards Institute
