Proposals to new projects

Topics for international collaboration welcome!

If you have a suggestion for an international collaborative project of the IEA Heat Pump Programme, please contact the Heat Pump Centre. The Programme aims to increase the number of collaborative projects and your suggestions are therefore very welcome.

Anyone working in the heat pumping field who has an interest to join a project, please contact the person(s) listed in the table below or the Heat Pump Centre.

A number of other areas of interest for future IEA HPP Annexes (projects) has been identified, and can be found here ›››

The following projects have been proposed and are currently in preparation:

Calculation Method for SPF for Design and Labelling Purposes

The objective is to establish a common calculation methods for SPF

• One, used in the design stage, need detailed data about load, outdoor climate, heating system etc.

• The other one, used for labelling purposes, can use a more general and easy approach. The focus is here on a fair comparison.

The objectivs is also to develop a common calculation metod for CO2 (carbon foot prints).

Performance Data Base for Heat Pump Systems

(field measurements)

The objectives are

• To build a real time performance database of heat pump systems in real installations for single and multi family houses, commercial and industrial buildings.

• To demonstrate possible energy savings and CO2 reduction.
