In this section information regarding workshops, arranged in connection with the HPP Executive Committee meetings, can be found. Workshop programs, some presentations of speakers etc. are available.
Workshop in Hannover, Germany - November 2006 The workshop was arranged by Informationszentrum Wärmepumpen und Kältetechnik (IZW e.V.) and the HPP delegate Claus Börner from Forschungszentrum Jülich and covered heat pumping activities in Germany including German work in HPP Annex 30 and 32. The German heat pump market development was also accounted for. More information ›››
Workshop in Tokyo, Japan - May 2006 The workshop was arranged by New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO, http://www.nedo.go.jp/english/index.html) and Heat Pump & Thermal Storage Technology Center of Japan (HPTCJ, http://www.hptcj.or.jp/). In the morning a technical tour was made to a district heating and cooling plant and in the afternoon presentations on the Japanese research and market development regarding heat pumps were held. The presentations covered topics such as heat pump water heaters, regulations concerning heat pump equipments, district heating and cooling with heat pumps and ground source heat pump systems. Workshop in Vienna, Austria - November 2005 The workshop was arranged by Arsenal Research in Vienna (http://www.arsenal.ac.at) and Austrian IEA Heat Pump Programme delegate Professor Hermann Halozan from Graz University of Technology. The program of the workshop included presentations regarding Austrian research and the market of heat pumping technology. More information ›››

workshop was arranged in connection with the HPP Executive Committee
meeting and the 8th IEA Heat Pump Conference in Las Vegas.
Half a day was assigned the HPP Annex 28,
Test procedure and seasonal performance calculation for residential heat
pumps with
combined space and domestic hot
water heating.

Workshop in Paris, France - November 2004 The workshop was arranged by the IEA Heat Pump Programme (HPP). The purpose of the workshop was to exchange information between people within the Heat Pump Programme and people outside the programme, especially French experts. Presentations concerned the following topics; performance standards for heat pumps, air conditioning energy policy, and technical and market developments. More information ›››
Workshop in Montreal, Canada - May 2004 The workshop was arranged by the CANMET Energy Technology Centre - Varennes at Natural Resources Canada (http://www.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca). The program of the workshop included an overview of the Canadian energy situation and examples of programs and tools promoting energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and heat pumping technologies.
