Annex 34 - Thermally Driven Heat Pumps for Heating and Cooling

The goal of Annex 34 is to reduce the environmental impact of heating and cooling by the use of  thermally driven heat pumps.

Annex 33 - Compact Heat Exchangers in Heat Pumping Equipment

Annex 33 is directed and widening the use of compact heat exchangers (CHEs) in heat pumping systems. It is believed that these will improve efficiencie, minimise fluid inventories and reduce package size.

Annex 32 - Economical heating and cooling systems for low energy houses

Annex 32 focuses on low energy houses and will find the best system configurations to minimise the overall energy use for the different building needs under the boundary conditions of thermal comfort and costs.

Annex 31 - Advanced modeling and tools for analysis of energy use in supermarket systems

Annex 31 will provide new knowledge, methods and tools for enhanced energy efficiency and thus reduced  environmental impact from supermarkets. The aim is also to share ideas and best practises among participation countries.

Annex 30 - Retrofit Heat Pumps for Buildings

Annex 30 should contribute to overcome the technical and market barriers in this interesting market sector.

Annex 29 - Ground-Source Heat Pumps Overcoming Market and Technical Barriers

Annex 29 will investigate ideas and, depending on climate and application, identify systems that could improve performance and market attractiveness of ground-source heat pump systems.

Annex 28 - Test procedure and seasonal performance calculation for residential heat pumps with combined space and domestic hot water heating

Annex 28 is completed and investigate the testing of the most common combined heat pums systems with heating of domestic hot water by desuperheating.

Annex 27 - Selected Issues on CO2 as a Working Fluid in Compression Systems

Annex 27 is completed and focused solely on CO2 as a working fluid in compression systems. It was in many ways a continuation of one of the subject areas covered in Annex 22 'Compression Systems with Natural Working Fluids'.
